Hi there! I'm Heather Ruth Pack, a passionate educator with a unique background. Trained as a molecular biologist, I honed my skills in evaluating scientific data. Later, my master's in public administration equipped me to analyze social and cultural trends. Combining these fields, I've developed a new approach to studying the Bible. As one of the first remote Institute instructors for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I quickly demonstrated my expertise. Within just nine days, I was asked to help write an Old Testament course. I was then approved to write my own course, Jesus Christ and Women in the New Testament, which had the highest enrollment in my region after one semester. Due to its success, I was asked to write another course, the Parables of Jesus Christ.By understanding the real-life context of Biblical stories, I aim to bridge the gap between ancient history and our modern world. This helps us connect more deeply with Jesus Christ and his teachings in our own times of faith.Sign up for my newsletter to receive updates and insights from my latest research.
